Kristin Rankin (They/Them) is a hairstylist, salon owner of Fox and Jane in Toronto, gender affirming cutting specialist and one of the pioneers of non-gendered haircut pricing. They identify as non-binary and in 2017, founded Dresscode Project, in order to address the huge gap between the professional salon industry and LGBTQ2S+ communities.

Kristin is also a Global Ambassador for Pantene and partnered with the brand to create the first ever hair product commercial featuring transgender women. They have been featured by media outlets like The Today Show, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair Italia and Italian Vogue, speaking about their work leading changes in the hair industry around gender. 

Kristin’s mission in creating the Dresscode Project is focused on eradicating homophobia, transphobia and discrimination according to race, sex and gender in salons worldwide.
